CIR-CE: Innovation and Research with Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe
Call for Proposals: CIR-CE promotes cooperation between innovative Austrian companies and innovative companies from Central-, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

CIR-CE is an RTDI funding programme developed and implemented by FFG / Structural Programmes on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Labour (BMWA).
Its objectives are
- the implementation of transnational networks - organised by intermediary organisations
(Competence Centres, Technology centres, clusters) and
- encouraging transnational projects covering R&D, technology transfer, benchmarking,
quality assurance etc.
Public funding is between 45% and 75%, project duration ranging from 1,5 up to 3 years.
The first call for proposals will start on May 25th, 2005, deadline will then be September 12th, 2005. Projects will start in the beginning of 2006, the budget for this call will be approximately EUR 3,2 Mio.
FFG / Structural Programmes is responsible for the programme management, counselling for prospective applicants will be provided.
Guidelines, programme principles, application forms and all other essential documents will be provided at call opening on 25 May under www.cir-ce.at
